Sri Lanka was selected as a destination of choice to set up the GBASe Off-shore Delivery Centre (ODC), because of the finance talent pool in the Country. Sri Lanka has the highest number of qualified Members of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (CIMA – which is a CPA Australia equivalent Qualification) out side of UK. It’s this resource pool that has attracted many Global players to set up their Finance ODC’s in Sri Lanka over the past 15 years and made BPM a thriving Billon US$ Industry in the country.

GBASe (Australia) owns and manages the GBASe ODC in Sri Lanka, which we consider as the “heart beat” of the Company. This Business Model enables us to maintain consistent, high quality delivery and pitch our services at dynamic rates compared to our Competitors. The resident Partners manage the end to end engagement locally to ensure that a strong and sustainable client relationship is built and maintained.

At GBASe , we believe that the customer experience should feel near shore even though delivery happens offshore over 5000 miles away. Our Leadership Team at GBASe consists of qualified Accountants (CA, CIMA & CPA) who have hands on experience working at the BIG4 Accounting firms and have also spent a considerable amount of time managing the BPM expansion wave in Sri Lanka during the 90’s, from winning trust from Customers to setting up ODC’s to running Operations for world renowned brands. We understand the challenges faced by Our clients especially when the “Purpose is mis-aligned” and hence our “Motto” of “Partnering with a Purpose”! Our Leadership Team has over 25 years of combined BPM experience with expertise in Finance, Personal and Company Tax and in dealing with Partnerships and Trust. We have also helped Companies with Strategy and Change Management. Our ODC Head of Operations, who will directly oversee your Operation from Sri Lanka, is also a Xero and QBO Certified bookkeeper and CPA.
